Joan Baez: Friends and Icons

Seager Gray Gallery was planning on the second installation of Joan Baez’ groundbreaking sold out exhibition, Mischief Makers 2 in September and a catalog for that show is underway. Because of the pandemic, the exhibition will be delayed and hopefully rescheduled for 2021, hopefully in January for Joan’s birthday.

In the meantime, Seager Gray presents a selection of her friends and fellow musicians entitled Friends and Icons in the gallery. The works include Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Woods, Charlie Watts, Emily Saliers and Amy Ray (from the Indigo Girls), Judy Collins, Richard Thompson, Patty Griffin, John Prine and a wonderful small self-portrait of young Joan Baez.  This collection can be seen by appointment only to accommodate social distancing.  You can email the gallery at art@seagergray.com to make an appointment or to inquire about the paintings
